He has an extensive background in publishing, design, branding, and advertising. His expertise includes usability, visualization and user experience for mobile and web solutions. Eric serves as the chairman and CEO of Rising Dragon Singapore. Rising Dragon Singapore is a private investment firm with holdings in technology, e-payments, real estate, and mining. It focuses exclusively on investments in Asia.
Previously, he has consulted for various companies and investment groups specialising in structuring various debt and equity investments. These have included arranging financing for various corporate and private acquisitions and re-financings.
Eric has consulted on several successful acquisitions, including turnarounds of distressed businesses. This has included financing and acquisitions of software services and development firms, and both domestic and “near-shore” technology outsourcing businesses.
Nicolas Nguyen has added emerging markets experience to his 15+ years experience in investment banking across Europe and Asia during his 3-year stay in Myanmar. Following a consulting mission with Yoma Bank, he has joined investment firm Rising Dragon as the Myanmar Country Manager overseeing the company’s portfolio of investments.
Prior to this, he was a Director at Commerzbank Hong Kong, Germany’s second largest bank, where he was Head of Options Trading for Asia for 7 years, setting up the trading platform and managing a large book of options and derivatives products across the main Asian markets.
Before relocating to Asia, he was an Options Trader in Frankfurt and in London for 10 years. Nicolas has a Master Degree in Applied Mathematics from the Pierre et Marie Curie University in Paris.
Jagdish Chanrai is a Principal of the Kewalram Chanrai Group, serving on the management board of the holding company. Founded in 1860, the Group is family-owned and professionally managed. It has interests in supply chain management, textiles, real estate, agriculture, environmentally friendly products, and wastewater treatment.
Additionally, Jagdish has private interests in several companies, primarily in technology, and holds a number of directorships. He is also a member of the Malaysian chapter of Vistage International, the largest CEO organization in the world.
Jagdish has a Master of Science in International Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics, a Master of Science in Management Studies from Brunel University, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Social Sciences from the University of Westminster.
Shankar Narayanan is a Fintech entrepreneur with a successful track record in innovation, technology, operations and product development. He has strong problem solving, change management and project management skills and the ability to develop strategic alliances.
In 2000, he founded Internet payment company Cazh, and in 2005 he founded enterprise mobility company TAGIT, and in 2012 he founded Social Payment company, Fastacash.
He started his career in computer animation in India, and carved a niche in multi-media production work when he moved to Singapore in 1993.
Shankar currently is the cofounder Active Intelligence, AI SaaS platform for financial services.
